Our city is not pedestrian friendly.
Instead of being full of pedestrians, sidewalks are obstructed by vehicles, motorcycles, tables and chairs from bars and restaurants….
This is not the image of a civilized city.
Somehow, young people manage to walk on these pavements whose main function is to hinder walking.
Older pedestrians, however, mothers with young children, and people with disabilities are condemned to stay at home or to walk endangering their lives.

We can all work together towards transforming Thessaloniki into a city where:

  • Pavements are free for pedestrians

  • People can walk from one end of the city to the other

  • Parents with young children walk safely around the city

  • People with disabilities can safely cross roads and have unimpeded access to sidewalks

WE CAN SUCCEED IF WE REALIZE THE POWER WE HAVE AS CITIZENS OF THIS CITY
